1. Scope and acceptance
These Terms apply to your use of the public SafeSpot website and, where made available to you under these Terms, SafeSpot-operated applications or locker services. SafeSpot solutions can be installed and operated by businesses, residential communities, employers, venues, resellers or other organisations. An organisation's own terms, policies and operating instructions may also apply to end users. Accessing the public website alone does not create a hardware purchase, AMC or software subscription agreement.
2. Business contracts take precedence
The sale, supply, integration, commissioning, licensing, support and maintenance of SafeSpot hardware or software are governed by the relevant signed quotation, purchase order accepted by SafeSpot, master agreement, statement of work, licence terms or Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC), as applicable. If those agreed documents conflict with these website Terms, the agreed business documents control for the subject matter they cover. This website does not itself offer locker rentals, leasing or revenue-sharing arrangements.
3. Our offerings
SafeSpot provides smart locker solutions for applications such as residential parcel delivery and pickup, employee and visitor storage, gyms, education, retail, leisure venues, industrial use and other custom business workflows. Depending on the solution, features may include connected or offline operation, PIN/OTP/QR/RFID/mobile access, fingerprint or facial-recognition authentication, API integrations and white-label interfaces. Features, specifications, connectivity, compatibility and availability vary by product and agreement; no particular feature is guaranteed merely because it appears on the website.
4. Locker operators and authorised users
A locker installation may be owned and operated by a business customer or facility operator rather than directly by SafeSpot. The operator may assign users, establish operating policies, determine permitted uses, set fees if any, issue credentials and manage belongings. Users must follow the posted facility rules, access instructions and applicable customer policies, and must only access compartments they are authorised to use.
5. Accounts, access credentials and security
You must not share access credentials improperly, bypass locks, tamper with electronics, access another user's compartment, interfere with systems or attempt unauthorised entry. Report suspected security issues promptly to the relevant facility operator or SafeSpot support. Operators and administrators are responsible for access permissions and account management within the scope of their configuration and agreement.
6. Prohibited contents and use
Unless the facility operator expressly permits otherwise and applicable law allows it, lockers must not be used for unlawful goods, weapons, explosives, hazardous or flammable material, live animals, leaking or perishable goods, or anything likely to cause damage or nuisance. Site-specific restrictions may be more stringent. Users must comply with applicable laws and facility rules; lockers must not be used for illegal or abusive activity.
7. Parcels, belongings and collection
For parcel, delivery, return and pickup applications, the user, delivery agent and facility operator may each have distinct responsibilities for depositing, identifying and collecting items. SafeSpot's role may be limited to supplying and supporting the technology. Delivery timelines, package custody, permitted items, missing parcels, collection windows and abandoned items are generally governed by the relevant operator's rules and contractual arrangements. SafeSpot does not automatically become a courier, warehouse operator, custodian or insurer merely by supplying a locker system. Applicable mandatory legal obligations remain unaffected.
8. Fees and payments
Charges for end-user sessions, if a particular installation uses them, are determined by the applicable operator or service arrangement and should be disclosed before payment. Payments may be processed by third parties subject to their terms. Hardware purchase prices, taxes, implementation charges, software fees and AMC charges, where applicable, are as specified in the relevant commercial agreement. Refunds, cancellations and warranties are governed by the applicable agreement and mandatory law.
9. Maintenance, warranties and service availability
Service features may be interrupted by maintenance, faults, electrical or network outages, customer infrastructure, integration failures, misuse or events beyond reasonable control. Support scope, response commitments, warranties, uptime or service-level commitments, if any, are defined in the relevant contract or AMC and not by general website statements. Descriptions of high reliability, low intervention or field experience are not independent guarantees of uninterrupted operation.
10. Data protection and authentication
Personal data may be handled by SafeSpot, a business customer or both depending on the deployment. Please see our Privacy Policy and any applicable customer or facility privacy notice. Biometric functions, if selected, are subject to customer-specific configuration and applicable permissions and safeguards. Operators are responsible for the notices and permissions required for processing they control.
11. Intellectual property and integrations
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, the SafeSpot name, marks, website materials, underlying electronics designs, firmware, software, documentation and related intellectual property remain with their respective owners. Purchase of physical equipment does not by itself transfer underlying software source code or intellectual property. API access, custom developments, white-label branding, interoperability and licences are governed by the relevant written agreement. Do not copy or reverse-engineer protected materials except to the extent permitted by law or agreement.
12. Third-party products and links
Some solutions may interact with customer software, networks, payment services, identity systems or other third-party products. Such services remain subject to their own terms, availability and policies. We are not responsible for third-party content or services except as expressly agreed or required by law.
13. Liability and remedies
To the extent permitted by applicable law, SafeSpot is not responsible for losses arising from unauthorised user activity, improper storage, operator-controlled processes, or third-party systems outside SafeSpot's agreed responsibilities. Any warranties, allocation of risk, indemnities, limitations of liability and remedies for business customers are determined by the relevant executed agreement. Nothing here excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable statutory consumer rights.
14. Suspension and misuse
Where SafeSpot controls an applicable service, access may be restricted for misuse, security threats, suspected unauthorised activity, legal requirements or material violations of these Terms, subject to applicable law and contractual commitments. Facility operators may separately enforce their own access and use policies.
15. Changes and applicable law
We may revise these website Terms and publish the updated version here with a new effective date. Material changes will be handled as required by applicable law and any binding contract. These website Terms are governed by Indian law; subject to mandatory legal provisions and any agreed dispute-resolution clause, courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction.
